Welcome to Animal Rescue

Animal Rescue is a non-profit organisation dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals and finding them loving forever homes. We rely on donations, fundraisers, volunteers and fosters to provide a safe home for all the animals, and all the others soon to come. We educate the community and all pet parents on responsible pet parenting, including the importance of spay/neuter, obedience training, and good nutrition. We envision a world where all animals are spayed and neutered and where all pets have responsible families and loving homes.

Animals have a special place in our lives and in our hearts. Whenever we encounter a lost, abandoned, neglected, or abused animal, we feel it is our civic and humane duty to RESCUE and SAVE that animal. We recognize they are intelligent, sensitive beings that deserve a long, happy life. We make that possible every time we rescue an animal. Knowing that they will be healthy and loved in a permanent home is the best reward. Our primary goal is to rescue and rehabilitate these animals in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes.

Many of our animals have had a long road to recovery before they can find their forever homes. Because we choose to rescue those animals that need us the most, some of our animals are being treated or have been treated for serious conditions. We have nursed those that are extremely emaciated, those diseased with parvo, those with broken limbs, and those whose spirits have been broken so terribly that they need to be taught how to feel love and know trust.

Through all of this, our hearts have been broken by the few that have not survived despite our efforts. But our hearts have also been filled with joy as we have seen those animals that were once abused, abandoned, and forgotten begin to experience love and trust again or maybe for the first time ever. There is nothing so gratifying as seeing once sick and terrified animals in the loving care of their very own forever families.
